Not happy. My misses walks in the door after returning from town on Saturday evening and says "the car sounds rough and is shaking when low revs", so i go out and take a look. I start her up and sure enough, it's a bit rough and shaking. Felt to me like it wasn't firing on one cylinder so thought dodgey plug or lead...I'll call the RAC in the morning to check.
The RAC dood turns up and I start her up again.
HOLY CRAP!
Now all the oil has settled in the sump it sounds B A D.
Sounded like someone had emptied their cutlery drawer in my engine.
With engine rattling away, we pull off the right pair of leads. It didn't make any difference at all. There's sparks there but no one else is home. Got our usual mechanic coming to take a look tomorrow. I'm dreading what he's gonna say.
Sounds mighty expensive to me!

doesnt sound good but hope its not too bad, i know the feeling of having a very bad noise coming from the engine bay..been there..several times.
