Manufacturers quote "at the fly wheel" with the motor bolted to an engine dyno, right... any figure you give will be "at the wheels" or "at the hubs" not to mention pretty much any dyno can and will be "fudged" to make the figures higher. pull your motor out and bolt it to an engine dyno if you want a real figure

If it has 160 fly and 90 wheels, doesn't that make it a 70kw loss. I could be wrong, but you would have to lose 80kw to get a 50% loss...Where it fucks name did you learn maths!

besr in mind all, the mechanical losses through the car are only about half, if that, most drive train/power loss, is actually through the tyres themselves..

you'd be amazed how much something as simple as air pressure in the tyre will distort a power figure
