Get a surge tank/ swirl pot or the Spec-C anti-surge pump/kit.

Your cheapest solution would be to find out exactly what it is first!

I dont have a problem with fuel surge (touch wood) and did 30+ laps of Wanneroo last month, with the only modification to my fuel system a Walbro pump. It could be as simple as a hole in a hose.

Jaron - long track is far worst than short track for fuel surging.

MSR - I've experienced fuel surge coming out of Kolb after only 4 laps (starting with a full tank), yet did 30 laps at Collie without a drama (mostly left handers)

Barbagallo - 56.03 (S); 1:08.09 (L)
Collie - 50.77
Possibly the most under-driven Evo X in the world??

That's probably not far from wrong then couple of liters from last servo to the track and then a lap or two before it starts.

Jaron I don't think it will be a leak in the boost lines as it never happens on the road or at the drags. And I did try after leaving the track

first thing to do which will cost you nothing: compare your fuel pump to someones who doesnt surge/as much, see if your sock is sitting higher / lower than theirs.

If that doesnt solve it, then try the STi anti-surge.

For similar dollars, you can setup an in-tank pump feeding an external surge tank, into a Bosch 044. Boot mounted, teflon braided lines.

make sure u got the right kit too
the wrx kit should angle down 45*, if you have another kit, eg skyrine, it will be horizontal at 90*
