Been out to Barbagello this morning. A heap of 1:12's and one 1:11.0 on the long track. All very un-official ( using a mate's phone with lap timer so give or take a couple of tenths )

Dam boost cut was pissing me off the whole time. Have had a resonator fitted and re-tuned a couple of times and still won't play the game at the track. Seems to be worse when it has done a few laps.

Any Ideas what I can try to stop it next????

It never does it on the street or at the drags.

Boost cut or fuel surge? Exit of Kolb Corner?

its most probably fuel surging at wanners... basically at wanneroo all bar one corner are right handers, the wrx fuel pump is on the right side of the car so when cornering hard all fuel will shift left and generally anything under 1/2 to 1/3 of a tank you will hit fuel surge.

He would have upgraded to the Walbro 500hp when getting his EcuTek done, so I doubt it would be fuel surge would it?
Never happened to me? Although my whole engines feels like it is going to fall out at full boost in 5th gear, but thats another problem!

Pretty sure boost cut. Did upgrade fuel pump. mostly half way up the hill from colb and halfway along start finish straight although sometimes round the corners. Always between 4-6thousand rpm.

Didn't let fuel go below 1/2 tank. Topped up when got to a half.

About 2km per litre. Dam it's expensive but fun!!!!

sounds like fuel surge.

A fuel pump upgrade is not going to stop fuel surge unless you've upgraded to a Spec C unit with anti-surge assembly at the bottom of pick-up.

Wouldn't fuel surge cough and splutter a bit rather than a short sharp complete cut.

Does it right from full as a goog
