Depending on how hardcore you want to go...
Remove rear seats
Remove passenger seat (not sure about the airbag business tho)
Remove spare tyre
Remove jacks/tools
Remove spoilers
Nearly empty tank
Light weight rims
Anything from the interior
Speakers

Basically anything that isn't needed and weighs something.

Also have a pre-game dump before going to the drags
Maybe thats what you need to hit the 12's John - lighter rims!

As for removing seats, ive mentioned before about the airbag issue in 06's and the general concensus was that the STi's didnt have airbags in the seats

Remove spare tyre DO THIS
Remove jacks/tools DO THIS
Remove spoilers TO LAZY AND JUST HAD SEAL REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY
Nearly empty tank BIT UNDER 1/4 EVERY TIME
Light weight rims ARE ON THE LIST WHEN GET SOME MORE MONEY
Anything from the interior STICK TO SEATS I THINK. DON"T WANT TO GAIN RATTLES
Speakers THEY WORK AT THE MOMENT DON'T WANT TO CHANGE THAT

Basically anything that isn't needed and weighs something.

Also have a pre-game dump before going to the drags IF NATURE IS CALLING

Usually save the hot dog and drink till the end of the night to.

P.S. I'm not really serious but it would be nice

They don't have them in the seats but I'm pretty sure they have a sensor so the dash one doesn't go off if no one is in the seat.

^^yeah youre pretty much right...some have the perception that there is airbags in the front seats?!. looking at the set i taken out.. there is nothing that says 'airbag built in' i know in the states they have airbags in seats of wrx's.. but they arent bucket seats, probably similar as what you find in the commodores, falcons..

haha yeah thats my view on it.. why i say that is because some guys off these forums didnt want my seats (was selling the whole set) because it didnt have airbags.. but they say the normal wrx's do and possibly void warranty!!.. i still believe that it doesnt have 'bags, if they are bucket seats how can u fit an airbag in it anyways.. we need to get subaru in the debate i say to settle once and for all!!

AFAIK,

06+ WRX Seats have side airbags.
06+ STI Seats don't.

I remember some debate on this when the 06 came out.

Crash diet? Some of us (not me LOL - I'm underweight now!) could lose a few kilos in the nut behind the wheel!

Shred some rubber on ur way there (-100grams), hit the treadmill before next season (-a few kg), whip the catback section off (-3kg, + 10 siq factah), take 2 out of 5 wheel bolts out (-100g), stanley knife seal + remove rear window (-5kg), take a piss (-100g)..

Theres an extra 10ish kilos u can shed from the vehicle...oh, dont forget the extra street cred that new exhaust will get...
