I hope megs and myself dont get the ugly betty 08 as replacements

Hopefully there are some new 07's still available!

If not i'll try for a payout and get an evo 9

NO "HOONING" WAS DONE DURING MY INCIDENT, IM GENERALLY A VERY SAFE DRIVER IN THE WET.

Just unfortunate last nite and fortunate at the same time.

Be careful guys, things can happen when your least expecting it.

Only thing we needed was to have it happen on a cruise to top it off ^_^

not a good weekend for rexies, I went out to the shop after reading all this, some little shit on a bike rides out on the road infront of me, part way across he stops and you can see on his face "oh shit!"

Swerved to miss him, car went into a slide, i managed to recover it, narrowly missing a traffic light post and another car, the fact I was able to recover the car from a slide I put down to a driving course.
I really cant stress enough, anyone here who hasnt done one, do a course asap.

**Note: I was NOT speeding.

bad day for rexes all round it seems

the rex is a funny beast in the wet, nearly put mine into the wall at waneroo years ago, admitedly i was being a smart arse and drifting around ford fast break, and kept going for a bigger effort each lap and eventually it bit me and threw me off the track..

but point is this, in the wet, they're one of the safest cars out there, along with an evo, due to the nature of the constant 4wd, understanding them and what they do in the wet when things get a little out of hand tho, only comes from experience, advanced driving courses, motorsport etc, its the only way you learn a car completely, and it does take a fair amount of time to understand it completely..

when you do have an understanding, its actually amazing just how bad a situation you can get out of, if you know what your doing..

I don't even take my 350 out in the wet, it doesn't like it one bit.
