i was told this is not allowed as you are not insured to be in the car whilst the inspector is driving....

also as for exhaust the test is 3000-3500 rpm thats it... fix the oil you will be fine champ take my word for it

Yer your not allowed to go with them. My old mans close mate worked at Warwick for a little while and didnt allow my brother to go with him when his 5lt supercharged stato was yellowed..

ive riden plenty of times with the inspector when clearing the yellow

Guess what i did, i asked an examiner He said yeah the owner of the car can ride with the examiner, but its totally up to the examiner if they want you to. If you're clearly a agro person and not happy about the yellow or what ever, they will say that you can't come with!

How are they ment to test the DB of the exhaust?

Yeah ive been with an examiner one more than one occasion yrs ago in my old car. I dont see why they would have an issue with it.

I just want this over with, so hopefully should be done shortly...

When they have tested my DB readings (a few times now) its been at 1500rpm, 2500rpm and 3500rpm from a distance of about 3ft. I think they only tested it the last 3 times i've been over but only once was anything said (and definitely over 92db). That was the last time after i was whinging for waiting 3hrs in line!!!

yer 3000rpm for me 3ft away... i got 101db lol... but that was in mandurah and the pits there are a shed therefore meaning the exhaust note is amplified lol....

what a hole...

inspections now $88???
