hypothetically how hard is it to put plates on a different wrx and take that through the pits. One of my mates just suggested it. But surely they would check engine number etc

I've been done for yellow 2 times and both time then send me back for petty shit e.g baby seat hoisters and loose gear knob.

You need to take my dad dressed in his $3000 zegna suit and looking all legal and have him standing there when they try and nit pick.

Got me through no issues the second time I went to get a yellow off.

Its always been pretty easy there. Only one dickhead and rest are old guys who wont bitch and carry on if they are having a good day Funnily enough i've passed everytime (bar last time cause i was whinging about lining up since 6.30am) without ANY sign of a cat and a exhaust that was well and truely to loud. I've been yellowed 4 times i think and the last time took me 3 attempts. When they tested my DB reading they stood maybe 3-4ft back and measured it from 1500 / 2500/ 3500rpm. Basically i was told to drive sensible "cause wrx's are louder than most cars"

Not having a go at you what so ever, but when i spoke to the guy he gave me a list of what was going on with your car. Did you know 25% increase in power or more is deemed illegal and uninsured if it exceeds 25% He also said that yeah he couldnt test your exhaust, gate and bov etc due to rpm limiter.
