I would expect a lot of reviews like that. A stock WRX has never been anything too exciting compared to other cars.

Ironically isn't Mazdaspeed the tuning wing of Mazda (much like STi being the tuning wing of Subaru)? If so it is not really comparing apples with apples.

I disagree, there has never been many Aussie delivered cars that would keep up with a stock wrx on a bendy road.

Mazspeed maybe the tuning wing of Mazda, but that 3 is US$2500 cheaper than the rex and it out performs it in most ways.
