Love the typo in the colour range:
"OBSHIDIAN BLACK PEARL"

May be it should be : "OBSHIDIAN BROWN SMELL"

The guards are pumped out 22B styles compared to the WRX. To quote Subaru 'you cannot (effectively) turn a MY08 WRX into a STi'. Body panel changes like the fender flares make the difference.

As for the engine, well for the MY06/07 USA and Aussie markets have had the EJ257, while the JDM retained the EJ207 with twin scroll. The noise on the STi test videos hints at twin-scroll sound, but usually its voiced over by an American blog so they say '2.5L'.

I just hope the Aussie market gets the real deal STi this time.

More of a car than the WRX granted, but then the interior is the standard I would have expected in the WRX for the money.

Outside, a 08 Impreza WRX hatch with pumped guards....gee wizz there's no end to the technology is there.
