Yeah I am, the interior is nice and it should be that standard for the WRX and slightly up spec for the STI.

The interior looks not a great deal better or different to a 05 - 06 STI, mind you this is only from pictures. Seats look nice.

Let's see how it actually performs.

2.5l is a big let down tho.

Jap 2.0 would be much nicer.

Twin Scroll EJ207 - ha ha you're all dreamin'
- we will get virtually the same spec as good ol Septic Tanks ie EJ257 motor with likely upgraded heads, manifold, intercooler and turbo from the EJ257 thats currently in the 08 WRX.

I rekon they might drive awlright tho for a girls car

I doubt the japs would get the 2.0L if it wasn't for the world rally regs. With the 100 Octane fuel it is the best option for extracting performance from the smaller engine.

As for the 2.5L the fact that you do not rev it as hard means that the testing RPM for noise and emissions tests is lower and easier to pass.

We will not go back to a 2.0L.

I wouldn't be disappointed if we did but no way it will happen. This is SUBARU remember not TVR.

Bloody save the planet, tree hugging, we are all going to drown - Subaru Oz hippies!!

I blame Big Arnie - "The Governator's" emmissions legislation in California that seems to set the benchmark for legislation for most of the developed world!!!!!
