Get a good chamois, I found the Autogym ones to be the best ive come across.

^^ Chamois for the win.

But seriously, dirty cars go faster.

myztik, spend a bit of coin on a decent chamois. They are worth it. Around $35+

I have a shitty one and a good one, shitty one for the rims, decent one for the car.

Towel on the car will never ever work.

Joey, white cars are so easy to clean and keep clean if you are anal about it. I wish I had white again

i got a free chamois with one of the hot 4's magazine and no shit, it is the best chamois i've had, apart from my old trusty which just keeps on going, had it for years and still drys the car better than alot of the newer ones ive tried.

i have not polished my car once since ive owned it, dont have the patience ( oh! except the chromey exhaust tip, i polish that!! ) but i wash it regurlarly and vacuum and wipe the interior at the same time.

That's BS, they are harder to keep clean. If there's any dirt etc on the car it shows up straight away, silver/grey cars would look clean the longest as the dirt/dust blends in with the colour. Same goes for rims I loved my old grey OZ Prodrive P1's they never looked dirty when coated with brake dust.

This thread makes me feel so inadequate. My car would be lucky to get a wash once every three months. No Time. No Energy.

not harder to keep clean if u do it regularly. I have to admit, my hatch was ALWAYS clean, the STi, is never clean, and I haven't really got any slacker and I don't drive the STi nearly as much as I drove the hatch, so it spends most of the time under cover.

Wash my car once a week properly - Wash/Wax/Chamois/Tyre Shine .. Amature Detail ..

Not sure if anyone has raised this yet, but as always, BP98 FTW.
