I went to a launch this morning...not for the 06 Impreza, but for the new Isuzu N-series trucks..

They held it at Sandalford Winery in the Swan Valley....started at 8am with coffee and tea, etc, then we went into a little theatre and watched a DVD factory tour, plus a presentation of the new trucks.

THEN we had morning tea, with cakes, coffee and tea..

THEN, we drove the trucks around for an hour and a half in a big convoy...crew cabs, tray backs, van bodies, narrow and medium cab...gee it was fun using the new AMT (automated manual transmission), which is a conventional manual trans with a torque converter that locks up at 10km/h (like a Toyota MR2 Spyder)

I hit top speed (which is 111km/h) down one small back road behind some wineries, and I still could barely catch the tray back Isuzu NPR400 flying down the hill in front of me! Those 5.2 litre turbo diesel 4 cylinders sure get up and going!

After that, we got free Isuzu jackets, model trucks, etc etc...and a full sit down lunch at Sandalford, with entree's and main meals..

NOW THATS HOW YOU PUT ON A PRODUCT LAUNCH
