A Boxster and STi/Evo aren't in the same category, so not really a fair comparison.

I would prefer my Evo because for what I do with my car it is more suitable, never been a fan of the Boxster but they are good drivers cars.

And yes Kym they are $100K+ cars.

Horses for courses.

Post the reverse question on a Porsche forum and watch everyone complain about how harsh a STi/Evo is. How cheaply made they are etc etc.

It is for what you use the car for.

I'm sure a Boxter with a couple of mods would hose any STi/Evo, drive better, have a higher finish quality and also have the badge cred.

120-140k depending on model. I think I'd rather a C63 or 335i....

Saw a black cayman today and have seen a few others around. Some of my mates have bagged them as ugly but i reckon they are F*%&^NG Awesome!. I actually think they might be prettier than the 911 turbo *waits for flame*. Do a chassis swap I reckon

Cayman is a hard top boxter... literally. Still most rexes keep up with them in straight line (Cayman does 0-100 in 6.1 sec $118k, Cayman S does 0-100 in 5.4 $149k). I personally would want a little more power for the money. Not bad looking cars though.

Yeah uses same engine, trans, suspension etc as Boxster. Actually I've read reviews where they rate the Cayman as being a better drivers car than the 911. But I guess thats pretty subjective.
