The idiots that go auction these days are shocking , last bug we repaired that was bought from auction cost the owner 7k stock standard , would love to go and pick it up for that price T.J mentioned cash right there and then for the mods only take the body for free but no way it will well i think that any way.

i wouldnt think it would get too high in price due to the fact it is a stat right off, meaning it is only parts and never to be relicensed...

If it sells for $5k - Sale of those parts will easily equal $5k.

yeah when i was working at a wreckers, we had a fair few shockers come through. people chasing half a car basically.

i too have seen some shockers..
years ago i went to buy a door of a car that was being wrecked at a panel shop in malaga. there was this guy trying to repair a mazda 121. he had cut the entire ass off another car and was trying to line it up by eye with the gap around the rear windscreen. by the time i left there he was doing some crazy chunky welds across the rear pillars.

Went and had a look this morning. Not a pretty sight. The motor is pretty badly burned, the drivers front wheel is fairly rooted and the brakes look messy, though they might clean up okay. 6 speed I guess is still okay but I don't think the rest is worth much.
