The STI is a performance car nothing else!

I would be keen to know what else in the $60 -100k range is available (EVO excl.) in Oz that performs as well out of the box i.e. stock and is trackable and reliable. Open to suggestions.....

for a car to track regulalrly they are not - also very very expensive to mod. same goes for R32 (maybe ok to track but waay down on power) and TT....

Elise is $100k + but only 2 seats.

i think the 20k preimum over the wrx is justified.

Add up the cost to take a wrx to an sti...Sti is deffo worth it.

I bet actually, by 2010 there will not even be a wrx..It has no market anymore. If you want performance get the sti. If you just want the handling/safety/looks, get the impreza.

Umm...

What about the MY07 range? Last time I checked it was a similar price difference between a WRX and a STi (~$20k). So with the new model with new and more features they wish to charge some more... Omg who would have thought!

Next thing you guys will be complaining that the new Falcon costs more than the outgoing model...

In the impreza range you will only be able to buy an "impreza" NA 2.5 etc or a "WRX sti".

There will not be a WRX.
