That car is straight as a gun barrel and has done 120k but has a fucked big end in it. Immaculate car though. I am still toying with the idea myself.

Dont fuck around. For the sake of a couple of grand that Darren will no doubt make better to buy off him. At least then you can have a look at it and you dont have the head spin of dealing with customs etc.

And to answer the other question and agree with Brendon , buy one already here that you can smell, feel, taste, drive.
I have imported many cars over the years and would say that 1/2 have had hidden problems that can't be checked by my contacts whilst at the auctions.
As stated in the post above, I bought one off JWS because even though I may have saved a few bucks by doing it myself, I wasn't the one caught with having to fix the dead engine it arrived with after probably paying the good money expecting the engine to be sound.
