dont forget rally cars run a 32mm restrictor. so their torque and power bands are vastly different to that of a road car.

In my VF30 equiped car, on the fwy if I roll-on in 4th and 5th I will get 1.3Bar at 3300rpm.

From a roll-on in 1st and 2nd it's closer to 3700.

VF30 isn't too bad a turbo. Cheap to replace, great mid-range however with the 35 coming on the AUS sti's they are very common thus probably just as cheap, with the better spooling characteristics they may be a bit better suited.

The other option is to swap the P18 exhaust housing out for a P15 one if ya can find one cheap that is.

Ta da VF30------>VF35.

Thanks for all the feedback.

I think I've got my hands on a 2nd hand Vf34, just waiting for the guy to get back to me.

This should make a difference, might need to get a better TMIC though.

Cheers
