Default WRX / STI rear arch

Do the STI's have a different moulding over the wheel arch compared to the vanilla WRX??? its just bugging me as i cant be sure it has or if its just a trick of the light?

MY05+ STIs have a wider track than a standard WRX. Also changed to 5x114 PCD rather than 5x100

Ahh, not entirely sure, but i'd suggest it would be major effort. Judging from that pic, i reckon the bumper is slightly different, only at the top near each of the archs though. But i dont think you can change the panel containing the filler cap. People do it when they make widebodies etc, but i think its a cut and re-weld job.

Im no expert though.

Why would you bother anyways, just for a small flare to the fenders?

It's a plastic flare thats connected in abt 3 or 4 places! Can't remember exactly how many!

U can definitely fit them to your car but you need to drill a few holes but I'd get a panel beater to do the job. U don't want you car rusting away from dodgy home work!

Oh well, there you go. I was always under the impression that they were moulded.
