Correcto...

JDM EJ207 would be the winner. C'mon Subaru, just release it in a special edition or something.

IMO they should release a EJ257 with a twin-scroll setup, the current JDM EJ207 uses the same type of crap pistons found in the EJ257. The currently produced EJ207 is not as bulletproof as it use to be.

oh well - it was fun while I had it

maybe if I install a door bell the engine will stop knocking - jokes

Rang Subaru Aus - releasing a statement soon

not sure what is causing US problem yet - have stopped production of the cars anyway

Aus not affected as yet but they are looking into - possible they will be.

If it starts knocking stop driving it.

Correction - Flog it and send it on so you can get a new replacement engine from a decent batch!
