Bring up a old thread to save the drama of starting a new one. I know how to convert it RWD which i will do to my GC8 after my engine rebuild, which is further down the track, But anyone know where to get a 2-way mechanical to suit a 97 wrx or do i have to go the LSD type.

I have a STI 2 way R160 rear diff to suit your car for sale if you need it.

If you are thinking of staying with RWD for a while or maybe permanently then R180 would probably be a good idea.

Ive got some R180 plated diffs and shafts for sale too. No hubs though

hey ... i have rwd setup been running it for years ... i can have one made for you for about $250 ... takes about 2 hours to fit theres no need to remove front shafts and is easily reversed when awd is needed ... also i have been using the stock vlsd r160 diffs and only maybe twice in 8 years and over 50 burnout comps has it gone single spinner ...
