The car you brought over REDY4WAR. Is it the one in your avatar..? If so, looks the goods. Did you save by buying from over east or just pick up one with low mileage..?

yeah mate got a black my00 from QLD
they are rare as and was having a hard time finding one local. there were a couple around but im pretty fussy with kms.this one popped up in qld with low km so I went and snatched it up. I didnt really save that much by getting it over east coz i bought from a dealership. I would of rathered buy one privatley over there...but being so rare i got the 1st one i could with the lowest kms. if you find one for sale privatley u will definatley save. even though u must pay for air fare, accom and freight back to perth....u still save. good luck Last edited by Subaru00; 27-10-2005 at 05:04 PM. |

IN terms of the price of freight you need to remember that a lot morestuff comes into the state than goes out. I.e. Demand is higher from the east to perth hence the higher price.
My uncle has his 911 porker transported between adelaide and perth regularly by tnt. He lives in Hong Kong so they pick it up from his house (with a truck)and drop it off at his house here. From memory they charge him about $900 each way. I think the least damage is done to the car when they put them in the containers and then put the containers on the train. Takes a bit longer than the truck but less chance of damage. |

ok so I need to get a spoiler sent from NSW to perth undamaged and quickly..
Depot to Depot would be fine, or Courier door to door. Who's the people to see, I'm confused with DHL and Fedex etc is there others or will they do stuff this big??

Ring fast road companies like StarTrack Express or TNT Express or maybe even GKR Transport. If you send by Air via companies like Fedex or Australian Air Express you'll get cubed and pay astronomical amounts. Road express from sydney should take 3 days depot-depot.
