How about a two teir driver's license system like they have in place for motorcycles. You have to drive the automotive equivalent of a 250 (oh the shame) for a couple of years then re-sit an examination with some hardened, arrogant, prick before you can drive a high perf car. I know I learned more about threshold braking, tyre adhesion and car balance trying to keep up with mates whilst driving a 3k Corolla! (they all had hi performance 202 Kingswoods) lol.

I kinda have to agree with that Doug. My first car was a 1.6 escort. I gave that thing some serious shit. Had i had a car with any decent amount of power I would no doubt have come to some grief.
