i have deciced to keep my car. i am looking at spending between 6 to $8000 on motor and suspension. wanting your suggestions on how you guys/girls would go about it. cheers.
mods are
motec m800
trust fmic
trust T518z turbo
sard 650 injectors
PPG straight cuts
and bits and pieces, pump fuel press reg, rails etc etc etc.
suggestions appreciated.

There's a few built 2.5's for sale o rexnet at the mo. Have a look over there.
Failing that, wreck it and sell me some bits =)

Hand on a second, you are confusing people. Are these parts listed above already on the car or are you planning to buy them???

If you are planning to buy them you'll need ALOT more than $8000.

If you already have those parts then throw in an 02 STI motor either complete or just a short block and use your current heads and whatever is left (if anything.......) spend on brakes and suspension.

+1 for dropping in the same model year STi motor. half the works done for you with internals!

Once again, if you want a cheap fix, I'll have a perfectly running, stock 205 short motor available this week.
