Default motor options

hi people,
my motor is broken, the rings or along them lines. just wondering what options i have. i just want it fixed cheap as i can. im not looking at doing internals or anything.
am i better off buying a second hand motor, rebuilding. please help. yhis is not my area of expertise.

i did get a quote off them but they dont have a motor for me at this stage.
is there more places in perth like JWS

Yes but the variable valve timing won't work, meaning you'll more than likely be losing power with the 04 engine.

in about 2 weeks i'll have an MY99 EJ205 block and pistons going cheap. If your heads are still good...
