Looks like a nice pickup there mate....still love the classic shape STi, one of my fav's.

New 207??? What's happening with the current donk.....thought the 207's where nearly indestructible especially in the MY00 STi.

What did you pay for the short 207 if you don't mind me asking....my mate just picked up a new 207 crate motor for a customer for $2300 2 weeks ago.

Paid $2200.

Current motor is far from tired. Subaru crate motor is as cheap as chips at the moment so I figure I'll build a motor up in my spare time and have it here just in case I need it down the track.

I work for a dealer that has amcap as part of it's group. I get pricing that you wouldn't be able to (no offence).

the 207 I ordered was the last in aus at the moment, (apparently) new stock should arrive in the east in a week or two.

None taken mate....not in the mechanical game anyway...just keeping an eye out.....most guys on here have been paying around the $2700 mark for 207 short so $2200-$2300 is very good anyway....

BTW my mate purchased from the same supplier so good to know he paid close to the lowest price.
