Default King Spring Ride hights

Has any one on the forum here have king springs in their bug eye wrx

if so are they low, suoer low, or super super low,

and do u know what the hub to guard distance is ?

Iv seen on there site there is the three springs to choose from
and wanted to lowest ones but was wondering how low they were and if
they were still going to be legal..

Thanks

Tim

Super low is the way to go...reduces standard ride height by about 35mm...well on an '02 STi it does...not sure about WRX but should be the same.

Hey Tim

I not long ago had kings fitted with sum koni adjustables down at Wilkinson Suspension centre. Was asked the same thing.. do i want Low/SuperLow/or the new 'Ultra' Low.. when asked the differences between them.. as a rough guide was stated 30mm/45-50mm/60mm respectively

Well i went with the Ultra's. The rears sit well on the guard.. the fronts, you can only see a gap when u bend down to eye level. Matched with the Koni's the drive on the car is awesome.

Thanks my friends wrx sits at 360 from hub to arch and is not low enough and that was as low as pedders said they did

king springs the ultra lows are 340 from hub to arch i think would be a lot better

the super lows are only 350 from hub to arch.

Adz

I have whitelines fitted to mine and I just put my car over the pits and it JUST passed. The exhaust is the bit you have to watch out for. It just cleared the pits rails when the guy measured it. My car is nowhere near as low as Adz car by the looks of that picture, so I would be saying no I doubt Ultra lows are legal at all.

My car just went over the pits with Kings Super Lows, and they were okay, but only just...they dont check the ride height that often, but they love to check if the springs are captive (seated on the top and bottom spring mount when the wheel is at full droop), and the Kings Super Low JUST managed to pass that...

Yeh - thats the reason i went the koni adjustables - match up pretty damn nicely

Measured the distance from centre of wheel to guard

Front - 330mm
Rear - 320mm
