Arrow Bridgestone RE050 vs Hankook K107 vs Hankook RS-2

I know tyres have been done to death but I’m after opinions as to which of the above tyres are better in terms of performance, wear and road noise.

Car is an MY06 WRX (215/45R17) and will be purely driven on the street, but good performing tyres are a must!

To my understanding the Hankook RS-2 is almost a semi slick hence wet weather performance isn’t great and the Bridgestones wear fairly quickly.

Opinions????

I've found some pretty good prices and will let you know where from after you give me some advice

Bridgestone RE050........$230 per wheel fitted and balanced
Hankook K107...............$235 per wheel fitted and balanced
Hankook RS-2...............$165 per wheel fitted and balanced

Thanks in advance

Doesn't the Piggy WRX come with RE050 from Factory?

Both the Hankook & Bridgestone are both a very good tyre both have there advantages.

I would stick with the Bridgestone.

Are you talking abour RE070's or RE050's?

MY99 - That seems dirt cheap for RS-2's. I paid around $280/corner from wheels world in 225/45/17.

Yeah i think the 06 WRX came stock with RE050's and the STi ran RE070's.

I was quoted $230 for the RE050's by Ian Diffen in Osborne Park.

Tempetyres has a hankook sale on at the moment
So the RS-2's end up at $165 a corner after shipping and fitting here.
The guy at Tempe wasn't sure if they had the K107's in the right size so the $235 a corner quote is from Swan Tyres in Osborne Park
