Default Tinting Your Sunroof

Does anyone have their sunroof tinted. I was told that if you tint the sunroof that it may cause it to crack, is this true, the dealer refused to do it. Appreciate any feedback.

The dealer gave me that story when I bought my car(city subaru), I felt the sunroof was worse than useless without tint so I told them to just flippin do it.

If it has been heated before (has the colour on the edges) reheating it to put the tint on may cause it to crack.

I was told by a tinting company that they refuse to do sunroof's as they are in direct sunlight all the time and the tint doesn't survive!?

you could always put coloured vinyl on there, just do the whole sunroof glass in gloss black, it'll look like limo tint
