The only thing that angers me is that this made court so quick while there is a extremely long wait for trials for rapists, paedophiles, etc etc etc.

As for the driving thing - you play the game, you accept the rules.

i wonder how quick could you have gone before you get more then 7/18 months.

i always feel short changed when i'm mid price break on a traffic fine.

No shizzzzzle.. but they can make a big example about what will happen to others and they look like they are actually doing something.. i have little faith in the wa justice system... iv see pedo's freed, cop bashers freed... whats next

TJ, it's because he was bailed to appear within 7 days of committing the offence. He could have pleaded guilty on the day (1st appearance) (which he may have) and either received a penalty then or in this case, got remanded for 2 weeks. If he had pleaded not guilty then it would have been remanded again for a trial date and depending on the court and how busy it is, can be months and months. Just the way the courts are, nothing to do with the specific charge.

I accept my punishment and will learn from this. Boy when i get my licence back im going to put it on a little shrine at night. I wont be driving at all. Wont be worth going to court again and getting growled at by the judge.
