^^ Yes wing stays.

Work started today, pictures below show the engine being removed, due to the passenger side impact, the motor was pulled down to be checked. Looks worse than it is as battery exploded in the prang and appropriately burnt surrounding surfaces. Leak down test confirmed possibe bent valves, will get the full run down tomorrow. Either way it was a 50/50 possibility, but will be sorted without any issue. Took some pics of the vf42 (check first page post) while its off as there's not a great deal of info available so may as well share. Quite excited and the boyz @ mms have been exceptionally efficient.

More updates as they come to hand.

Nothing to upgrade Tino, will do headstuds as they'd be changed anyway, clean up the heads, new valves and back on. ETA is to be running end of the week, this may delay it, time will tell.

As for tune, im still unsure of the 'need' for a standalone ecu when a verso would be sufficient. Again, time will tell, just happy being immersed in the conversion.

If your not going to go radical at all and primarily keep it oringal condition then i wouldnt bother going with a standalone ecu. Verso would work and would be all that you need.

But the question will remain if youll tinker with it.. Weve got that mod bug in us thats too hard to let go

And yes its fun doing a build up. Relaxes me to no end pulling shit apart and putting it back together.. haha

I think in this case, I wanna Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS). Prefer to release hidden power in the oem package with an exhaust and concentrate on punting it harder
