This can only happen to me in my dreams.. LOL ... The cost involved should be phenomenal... 30k easy ? on top of the base car..

Base car was a smash from auctions. I would say $3k tops?
It is actually quite a cheap way to own an STI let alone a speccy edition.
I would only be guessing and I am probably way off but my guess would be somewhere in the mid to high $40k range when it is done.
