i wouldnt bother, while the coolant is still green, just drop what you can and refill.

then maybe re-rod the radiator once every 5 years.

Guys..

Is there a simple way of just dropping the fluid and topping back up again ?

Drop bottom hose.

Run fresh water through the bottom hose of radiator with top hose off - high tap pressure and seal outlet with hand around garden hose.

refit hoses and refill with fresh coolant.

similar to a reverse pressure flush without the air/water pressure - dont rate that part anyway.

Will do just that.

Jester also added to have the heater on full ? is that while refilling or while dropping the fluid also ?
