Unless you are having overheating issues really I wouldn't bother, as far as I remember from getting the taxi done every 6 months all they did was check the visible hoses & take the radiator out, put a new thermostat in, rip the end tanks off the radiator & put a rod down each tube then put it back together & charge a lot of money.

Basically drain all the coolant via bottem rad pipe get ya mixture mixed up.

get as much as you can in thru top header get car started then keep topping it up with screw on top off on header tank (you dont want it to pressurise) keep ya eye on temp gauge oh and keep heater on full whack in car

then when you think its full which it wont be let the car cool down top up again and do the same again...

probably not the pro's way of doing it but i have dones loads of em and they are all ok afterwards

If you want to drain the coolant quickly - loosen the bottom hose.

Then follow the Re-Fill Procedure in the DIY Section here:

Cheers guys but i was looking for something more along the lines of this...

This is off the 'Autorite service centre' website.

Cooling System Service
• pressure test cooling system
• drain engine coolant
• reverse flush radiator heater core and engine block
• inspection of cooling system hose drive belt and radiator cap
• refill coolant with premium coolant
• run engine so thermostat opens and radiator fan operate if apply
• re pressure test cooling system

Do subaru workshops such as Tenagah, RMS or ASG do this also ?

Sorry for the n00bness, but ive never had one done before
