Yes you can put a unichip on a NA Subi boxer motor.
Check if the model no is applicable. If so, expect about a 10% increase in power and torque, and better fuel consumption. Factor into the cost tuning time. Tuning on a dyno v. on the road each have their devotees. Best to do both. You need at least one approach as I doubt the factory settings on the chip will give anything. With new parts and a proper mechanic expect to pay $1500 to $2000 to get a power increase from say 90 to 100kw flywheel. |

got it done by the guys at psi performance.
03 sti, roller dyno, and yeah it's ATW. but it's not just the more power, just casual driving is so so much smoother. it was a 2nd hand unit with a new boost modual.....$1400 installed. at 16 psi boost. |

thats wicked! the increases sound about right.
get it to the plex quick, should get mid 12's with 212kw atw. Last dyno day I went to I had 137kw atw on the formaz dyno, got 13.08 at the plex. you might even get low 12 actually.

based on the mods, i'd say it'd do a low to mid 13.

ok, this is what i'll do.
go to WAW tomorrow. and thursday/friday go to maximum motorsports and get a second dyno done. |
