A perfect example of why people should ignore figures and use dyno's as a TUNING tool

216kw@ wheels? What tuner on what dyno?

189.1kW standard...hmmm

but like PMH said the gain sounds about right...(closer to 20 than 30 though)

That would be kw's at the flywheel I'd say.

No way it could be @ the wheels with those mod's.

Cheers

Stock power at flywheel 160kw (my 99 and 2000?)
with 3" exhaust 189.1 kw 18% increase, quite reasonable for a 3"
with 3" and unichip 212.6kw, another 12%, about what y'd expect. This would be about 150kw atw.
Just a unichip alone would give a 10% increase. This would apply for the NA motors such as GX and RX for those questions on another thread. not a bad increase but not particularly good in terms of 'bang for bucks'.

Ah stupid question but can you put a unichip on a n/a motor as I have a near new one from a MY 98 WRX which no one seems to want to buy and I have a n/a MY 98 which will be on the road soon, if it will fit what sort of difference to performance should I expect?
