its definately a buyers market atm, just search in the for sale section on here or car sales etc.

There are many well modified GC8s for around the 20k mark, most with okish kilometres...

what are you going to use the car for? streetlight warrior? track car?
there is many variables, we probably require a little more info.

a wrx is awd, not referred to as 4wd.

Really it comes down to what you are looking for. Are you looking for a 'sick' tricked out older model, with chrome rims, fluffy dice and a bright paint job, or are u looking for a basic stock, low km example with near no mods that has been well looked after.

Sometimes, the ones you are 'sick of looking at' are the ones worth buying. Obviously, if you are willing to spend say $25k, I would be looking for an 05 WRX, with around 60k on the clock with FSH and 1 owner, then worrying about what you can do with your new 'blank canvas'

Or, if you want a 'modded wrx' buy an 02/03 WRX STI and enjoy the benefits of a bigger turbo, bigger IC, Waterspray, Brembo Brakes, Forged Pistons, 6spd Gearbox, and other interior mods.

Up to you really.

Basically decide which shape you wnat first!! they are cheap nowdays, we had a MY03 through work awhile ago and we got rid of it for $19,000!!!!

Once you find a shape you like then look, all depends on what you want
