hey just a quick q guys,

i know the ground clearence on a car has to be 100mm, but with regards to an intercooler, is there a different clearence height for them? a car im looking at has a chomped front bar with the intercooler hanging down, or does the intercooler just have to be at least 100mm off the ground? like the rest of the body? its a forrester btw.

Yep...lowest point on the car has to be greater than 100mm...

i hope you like the attention of the coppers with an intercooler that low

i havent bought the car yet dude, and the intercooler can easily be removed anyway, it might be greater the 100mm off the ground as i havent checked how low it is yet, one of the reasons why i havent bought it yet. Thus why im askin about the intercooler.

Yeah, id remove the cooler if its sitting too low presonally. I was about to chop my frontbar when i got my cooler put in but Sean @ ASG said it'd look shite and he didnt want to do it, and thank god for his foresight as ive seen a few around and it does look pretty cheap.

yeah im not a big fan of it either, i can alaways change it, his chopped the front bar, i can clean it up if i want to.
