There will never be the broad spectrum of 'collectability'. Sure it will be (to an extent it is now) a modern day classic, but it'll need 30 years+ to have that particular draw to it. Also its rare from a numbers point of view, so is a leyland P76 on today's market. Its saving grace is a somewhat limited motorsport heritage and that is where it'll count at the end of the day.

It's still a japanese car no passion/enthusiasm will change that. And product is only worth what someone is prepared to pay. Given how many are on the Aussie market and the ease in which you can still buy one, 30 years sounds about right.
