Not much i guess, Around $900 - $1000 sending them here by TNT and plus stamp duty and of course transfer fee and the car must go to pit in Perth.
Depends on what car you going to buy i guess? if it's common car buy it here i think there are not much different anyway |

I did it with my RA. Very straight forward. Budget $1000 for transport. Do all your homework on the phone and with pics via email. Check with the local authorities for current registration and ownership/finanace status. Then bite the bullet and fly over, cheque in hand ready to do the deal if it all stacks up.
In Perth it just needs a trip over the pits so dont be buying anything too modified unless you have access to parts to borrow to make it an easily passable vehicle. If it is likely to be a car that is defectable, you will have issues getting it over the pits. Can be worth the effort though as there are some cheap cars over here. |

also if its finanaced or insurance, check to make sure theyre ok with interstate cars, believe it or not some insureres and lenders want the car to be WA delivered...

Definately do a vechicle check on the car, nothing worse then finding out money is still owed on it.

got my rex from brissy. i strongly recommend flying over to look at it. also pay the stamp duty and transfer fees over there as its cheaper.
once arrives in Perth, send it over the pits and then re register with WA rego.\\pretty easy and saves a few thousand dollars. |
