Default Cheap Tyres

Well, after having fixed my gearbox completely and utterly today, I've been told to replace my front two tyres - as I've got matching tyres at the rear (215/40/R17), whereas my fronts are mismatched.

I'm in pursuit of some dirtcheap 215/40/R17's to put on my front, as it's doing my centre diff in something hardcore.

If anyone's knows of some cheap contacts, please let me know as I need to rectify this problem ASAP.

cheers in advance

i've got a relatively loud whine coming from my transmission, not a good sign - so essentially i don't want to be travelling too far, nor too fast.

however, the fronts are a 225/45/R17 and a 220/40/R17 from memory - do you think 13.25mm of difference would really be damaging my diff?

God damn man. You shouldnt be driving your car on such mis matched tyres.

Go to a second hand tyre seller to get em quick and cheap.

This place in Osboure Park sorted me out last time I needed a single tyre to complete a set. http://secondhandtyres.com/

This is last to do on my checklist, I'm really only needing two 205/40/17's, as the rears are just fine

In this type of weather I wouldn't be skimping on tyre quality. Spend a little more than you have budgeted for and get some decent rubber on.

Plenty of tyre stores have specials on decent rubber so just ring around to your local tyre shops and get some prices.

any tyre shop, they have bulk 2nd hand tyres

or maybe rotate your tyres back to front and see if you have any vibration at the steering wheel
