Its growing on me too but I don't like the rear end, more the spoiler than anything. Pics of some modified sedans....

I have no doubt my car is quick! It gets from 0 to 100kmh in a flash, but i think it juz lacks that rawness feeling of the turbo kick, which i love! Im pretty sure the rex i test drove at the dealers woz not as smooth as mine...do u think they modify demo cars so tat it feels quicker and is more appealing for us to buy one?

Definitely not, I think you're just getting used to it.

A guy on another wrx forum has an 09 demo and it comes with a bigger exhaust to give it a nice wrx rumble...he told me its a genuine subaru exhaust so I rang my dealer to see if I could also purchase the same exhaust for mine (in hope that I could also have that nice rumble without voiding my new car warranty)..the dealer told me that it wasnt a genuine subaru exhaust and that some dealers actually fit after market exhausts to make it more appealing to customers when they take it for a test drive..so was juz wondering that they may modify other parts without us knowing...

Im definitely not used to my car yet...only have recently run it in and did not really push it hard until last nite...

Yes, i have a feeling that it does..even though its quicker, i think it basically comes down to the new wrx being alot smoother than the earlier models

09 defniitely have a 'kickback' feel...I think you probably may have got used to it...mine seems slow now compared when I first got it...
