heh if I was using CF, I'll take my own sweet time whenever I cross a road hump or a pot hole etc

All other materials would be a more mind relaxing option considering I won't be as heart pain as I was if my CF lip was scratched.

Damn I don't think you need to do anything about it to make it look good. Its already looking awesome. Looks like its a few minutes old.

But yeah like others say, some coilovers to lower would be great. Handles even better than it already is as well.

You get over scratching it pretty quick

I've got the CF front lip on my 05, was ok till I dropped the ride height by about 30mm, it's not too low, but it does like to saw hello to the ground at shopping centres / occasional speed bumps if you are going too fast.

It does make the front of the car look super schmick tho

Julian, it's a little darker than legal, but it's not as dark as it appears in the photo! Got it done at TKO on recommendation from Jason (V5 STi). His 06 STI has very dark tint, 20 grade i think. Mine is 30.

PS.

Does anyone think my peak boost reading of 1.4 is a little too high for a stock car? I haven't done any power mods.
where did u get that centre mount from with the three gauges in it?

Its a Defi product. Buy it from Japan or go and see someone like Wei from Vision R.

I had a look at the STI Australia lip and total cost is nearly $1000
These are the details from their web site:
ST960204S140 Front Lip Spoiler $776.15 MY06 WRX & STI
ST960204S130 Front Lip Spoiler Under Skirt $209.96 MY06 WRX & STI

QUOTE=AC Schnitzer]The lip does hang a bit low. Or alternatively you can try getting the STi's stock lip. I think its rubber material and it looks a bit like the CF version without the CF surface designs, however only in black. You can actually anyhow bend the lip and it'll just go back in place.

Anyway thats what I saw when I was holidaying in Singapore where they had a 06 STi in a showroom fully kitted with all the STi goodies. Not sure if they have these lips at STi Australia. Don't see any reason why they wouldn't.

It looks ok but the looks is something you got to compromise if your car is lowered and you desperately want a lip. Otherwise go CF [/QUOTE]
