Unless it's a dire emergency next time just go to the next turn, pull a safe U turn and try again. Same as people reversing or cutting 3 lanes on the freeway because they missed the exit.........if it's not safe, just spend a few minutes going around.

WRP10 in applecross this morning around 7:35am

I'm seeing this everywhere these days. U-turn at traffic lights, cutting off lanes of traffic to make an exit etc. People seem to have forgotten the plan ahead for your exit or heaven forbid, miss your turn/exit and then safely turn around later to get back to where you want to be.

I see it all the time on Riverside Drive heading past the Perth Convention Centre. Had an Asian dude in a Rav4 Reversing up as he was heading on to the Freeway... unbelievable.
