Take everything off that didn't come with the car originally otherwise
they become the property of the insurance co and you'll never see them
again or any extra money for them just the value of what it's insured for!!!

plus 1 on this, maybe you can take the VF52 off as well ? I would be happy to give it a good home.

Holy shit that is bad.

I can join the list of hail damaged cars, but I really only have a few small dents spread out over the whole car. More annoying than devastating, as its so minor but still enough to have to claim.
Considering I'm in Yokine and the surrounding suburbs were some of the worst affected areas in the city, I feel reasonably lucky.

My main problem is my drive flooded and the water line looks like it may have reached the engine bay. All seems ok for the moment though.

My daily on the other hand, the trusty amphibious Kia has a busted aircon, possibly from the multiple river crossings yesterday afternoon.

I'll just grab the exhaust and maybe sways. Too much hassle for the ALK, don't have the original stuff.

I'm happy for an my10. My car has 34000km on it so it is a good deal. I can't wait that long either!

Hopefully ASG will show me some mercy on the exhaust install/tune component!

Besides Pickles, which other auction sites do I need to save into my favourites in preparation for the damaged vehicle auctions.

Very minor hail in freo and less further south.
Heaps of rain though, the volume of water running down the road in spearwood was crazy. The drains were doin nothing.
Cars were stuck in puddles all up and down rockingham road.

We were very lucky down this way, I was amazed by the pic's of the hail NOR.
We didn't get hit any where near as bad.
Sorry to all that had damage done and good luck in keeping you patience in the next few months waiting for your claims to be finalised.

Second thoughts if every one that gets a car written off posts up the insurance companies 'Buy back' price then there is no need to go to the auctions.

I had a VS senator written off for $20k and they let me buy it back for $2.7k.
