Ok, let's recap;

• Your mechanic removed the radiator to inspect the cams (?) because you feared they was leaking. I can only assume you're referring to the front cam seal?
• When you got the car back it was idling at ~1500rpm
• Idle plug (?) was disconnected, so you plugged it back in which stalls the car. I don't know what an "idle plug" is, and neither does google.
• Turned engine over again and it now idles at 300rpm.

Shit's not normal dude, take it back to your mechanic or get a second opinion.

ROFL that is so funny, cams leaking = take out radiator??? Even if it was a crank or cam seal why would you need to take out the radiator just to inspect?
Idol plug I assume = idle air control/idle speed control, why is this suppose to be unplugged?
