If you were keen on a CAI, I'd go for either an APS (http://www.airpowersystems.com/wrx/my01/hfa.htm) or ProcessWest (http://www.processwest.com.au/websit...dairintake.htm) unit.
Personally, I have had a ProcessWest one on my GC8 for about 2 years now, and no problems with it! It comes with an oiled pod filter though, which can spell bad news for your AFM, but just dont oil it when you put it on, and when it comes time to clean the filter, only put a very minimal layer of oil on it. I've only been through 1 AFM the whole time I've owned the car When I fitted the CAI and silicone intake, I noticed pulled a bit harder through its top end. |

i recently replaced my panel filter with an k and n panel filter, made a noticable difference in idle, not so much power just ran smother.
