Default iPhone REV...OBD diagnostics, trackday gps logger etc

Has anyone seen this:

The iPhone is a powerful computing platform, and Rev takes advantage of all the iPhone's built-in technology to provide interesting metrics about your vehicle. These built-in metrics, available without the aid of additional hardware, include:
Lateral and Forward Acceleration: Graph your cornering, braking and acceleration G-forces. (Also available in Rev Lite)
GPS Track: Visual track displays your location and acceleration data - see how you are braking and accelerating around corners. (Also available in Rev Lite)
OBD Metrics

"Rev gives you access to lots of vehicle info, communicating via an OBD-II device to extract highly accurate, real-time data directly from your vehicle's ECU.

Those metrics include:
Vehicle Speed
RPM
Fuel Consumption*
Engine Coolant Temp
Fuel Pressure
Calculated Engine Load
Throttle Position
Intake Manifold Pressure
Air Intake Temp
Timing Advance
Mass Air Flow
Fuel Level
Barometric Pressure
EVAP System Vapor Pressure
Fuel Trim
Boost**

Engine Code Retrieve and Reset

Want to know why your Check Engine light is on? Rev will tell you why!
Engine code checking
Listing of all engine codes thrown by the vehicle
One-button reset of your codes and Check Engine light"

Pretty damn cool app.

It uses the iphone gps for trackday functions including data logging laps with engine data , mapping etc.

Pretty cool indeed! I had the trial version a while back - the app seemed to be very comprehensive and there was a hell of a lot of data in there. I played around with the G meter and it seemed to be pretty accurate and responsive.

I think they should release an iPad version

Maybe we should ask how this guy went? http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/showthre...ht=iphone+apps

Yeah, App Store. The only issue is that you need to buy the OBD Wifi dongle to get ECU data which is $150US plus postage: http://www.plxkiwi.com/kiwiwifi/buynow.html

I was flipping through all the other crap to see if there was an app like this but couldn't find one.
Good work diggin it up.

Seems to have all the bells and whistles. Depends how well it is executed though.

$47.99 for the app. Search for devtoaster and a list of their products will come up. Found it in the app store easy enough.
$150US for the interface is a bit steep though. Any one one know of any Aussie products?

If there was a way of getting a tatrix to talk to this, winner.

I'd be keen to see if it can read a Mitsu CAN car too.

NOPE.....powerfc is non-OBD compliant. That's why you have a hand controller!

Ross, could you get this to do AFRs? Or would you need a wideband Lambda sensor for that?

Cheers!
