If I could find a really nice unmodified Liberty RS for 15K, I'd get that.
I wanted one badly when they were new, but couldn't afford one.

Realistically, I'd get a stock bugeye as a daily driver. they're nicer on the inside than a GC8, and safer to crash (important if it's to do duty as a sometimes family car) I also like the way they look. They have a balance to the styling the other GD's don't have.

I've already got a GC8 so it'd be nice to have something different.

the only good bug eye is the 02 STI with avs, all other bug eyes lack power like the 08 wrx

I'm pretty keen to slot a EZ30 into a classic GX/WRX. Strip, cage & race. Hopefully do it in 6/12 months once my business is off the ground.

Or do it to my GT Foz if the engine plays up.

Lot's of people have a problem with the round lights, but I don't and never have. Once you get over the lights then the bugs are actually very cleanly styled.

Later GDs (base WRXs) also have wider rear bumpers than bugeyes.
This gives the effect that the wheels of later models are hiding under the guards. A problem not evident in the bugs, which sit more nicely on their stock wheels

The rear lights of the bugs, without the teardrop effect, are cleaner and neater than other GDs.

That's my $15K opinion anyway.

Except Chads was a personal import that is legally road regoed,
so they're not exactly easy to get unless you go B Reg.

B Reg ones can be had for under 10k as V4 ones have sold for as low
as 9k and V5 ones have sold for 10-13k, so very good prices for a weekend
track weapon.
