these things seem to be getting more and more common, had my car on carsales earlier this year, i got a text message on my phone at 3am in the morning, had my phone on loud as well so i was pretty cranky when it woke me up with a scammer from london.

everytime i sell something on ebay i get a few scammers trying to buy it each time.

ok guys and girls, I've just recieved the same sort of scam as a overseas buyer.

First they sent me an email if the car was available still.
I said I have it but not sure if I want to sell anymore.

Then I get one of these.... LoL.

If you see the following in their query just delete it:

"Hello I saw your ad and will like to know if the car is still available for sale."

and ...

"I have an enquiry regarding priceI would like to test drive this car?Can I please have more information on service history?"

and

"Good Day, I will like to confirm if this vehicle is still for sale. If yes, kindly get back to me with your offer. Immediate response is greatly appreciated."

I'm tempted to reply with something like this:

There's a UK businessman who will like to know if he can buy my vehicle for his daughter. I'm just trying to arrange shipping to England so he will like to know what it's like to drive. I will like to keep writing to you so you will like to know if I sold the car or not.

Will you like to tell me if this is all right?
